Blah… God, help me run back to you. I hate who I am right now.
Repentance.
Purity Day 1.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
if nothing lasts forever…
when times are good, enjoy them.
when times are hard, endure them.
“Son, I might not be rich in the world, but I’m rich in my heart.”

…But the climax of the glory of his life on earth was the way it ended. It was as if all the darker colors in the spectrum of glory came together in the most beautiful sunset on Good Friday, with the crucified Christ as the blood-red sun in the crimson sky. And it was as if all the brighter colors in the spectrum of glory came together in the most beautiful sunrise on Easter morning, with the risen Christ as the golden sun shining in full strength. Both the glory of the sunset and the glory of the sunrise shone on the horizon of a lifetime of incomparably beautiful love. This is what Paul meant in 2 Corinthians 4:4 when he spoke of “the glory of Christ.”
Jesus, you’re so beautiful.
You always know when I need You “more”. Thank-you God. I love you =)
“While it may at times feel like you are spinning your wheels while others are changing the world, the truth is God knows exactly where you are and what you need. Like Jonathan Edwards, the question is one of stewardship in sacrificing now so as to be able to enjoy and see maximal fruitfulness for the Kingdom in the years to come.”
